In a statement issued on Thursday, the group said the decision confirmed the landslide victory recorded at the polls, while also commending Chief Agboola Ajayi for withdrawing his case, a move they noted would foster peace and stability in the state.
The statement read in part: “We envision a future of collaborative governance, crossbreeding ideas, and political synergy that will drive development in Ilaje/Eseodo Federal Constituency and the Ondo South Senatorial District.”
The Progressive Democrats further expressed readiness to work with the Governor in advancing the state’s progress. “We look forward to fruitful collaboration, supporting your leadership and dedication to serving Ondo State. May this victory enable you to deliver impactful projects and programs that will enhance the development of the state,” the statement added.
